- The HS Girls Basketball Assistant Coach supports the head coach in leading student-athletes and promoting a positive, growth-oriented team culture.
- This role includes helping plan and run practices, teaching fundamental skills, supervising students during all team activities, and reinforcing expectations for sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic responsibility.
- The assistant coach collaborates closely with the head coach, communicates appropriately with families, and upholds all school, league, and KSHSAA guidelines.
- Additional responsibilities include maintaining equipment, ensuring student safety, modeling professionalism, and representing the school with integrity at all competitions and events.
